A contemporary residential quarter is to be built on the former site of the municipal nursery in Bottrop. The project is characterized by a green neighbourhood that will be car-free thanks to a parking lot at the entrance to the district. This innovative approach promotes sustainable mobility and creates an appealing, quiet living space.
A central neighborhood square with the converted historic country house as an eye-catcher will become a new social meeting point for residents and visitors. The reuse of historic structures gives the site a special identity and tells the story of the city. This mixed residential concept emphasizes diversity and a sense of community. Green inner courtyards encourage encounters and social interaction. The arrangement of the different types of housing creates a harmonious image and meets the needs of a diverse residential population. This neighborhood’s location underscores its value. With good transport links, proximity to the city center, direct access to the city park and an adjacent children’s playground, the residential quarter combines urban living with a residential experience close to nature.
Overall, the residential quarter is a pioneering example of modern and liveable housing in Bottrop. Less Plus focuses on the conversion of unused potential in order to create attractive and sustainable living spaces for the community.
