La Moixina
Landscape architecture, Olot
2016
In Spain, we have envisaged a landscape architecture. Based on a bad planning we designed a new concept, which should also turn to the rain water next to the fountains of the mountains. This shall create temporary pools, which would also give expression to the changing weather conditions of the seasons. Two waterways shall emerge, highlighting the topography of the landscape and the movement of water from the mountains to the river. The new master plan also proposes several paths within the natural landscape that underline the individual elements of the place.
The meditation is one of the interventions of la Moixina and proposes an embedded seat structure that underlines the changeability of the water level of the temporary pools. Silence, positivity, reflection and isolation are the main elements of the place.
