Publication Ruhr Area: A behind the scenes look at architecture by NXT A

publication
In the publication on the Ruhr Area, Philipp Valente talks about different industrial landscapes and industrial buildings that you would hardly find in Germany. In large cities such as Hamburg, Munich or Berlin, history is more clearly defined and more targeted plans are provided for the future. But not in the Ruhr area. There are many clues here that are still open for a classic future landscape.
How is it possible to build a historical quality like this into the future and build on it as a basis? And how can the architect distinguish the structural change in these places, which are pretty free and abandoned, from the rest of the urbanity and make them a place that continues to be recognizable? Philipp has dealt with these and other interesting tasks and tried to define new approaches with Less Plus and to implement them in future projects.
